How did we live this long without RGB fans in phones?
Nubia has been known to make gaming phones with an extreme 'GAMER' aesthetic, yet no one was ready to witness the ace up their sleeves. Their latest phone is the RedMagic 7S Pro, a mid-year upgrade to the 7 back in February.
Nubia RedMagic 7S Pro
Chipset: Qualcomm Snapdragon® 8+ Gen 1
Display: 6.8" FHD+ AMOLED 120Hz
Storage: 256/512 GB UFS 3.1
Memory: 12/18 GB LPDDR5
Battery: 5000mAh with 65W charging
Cameras:
Rear: 64MP main; 8MP ultrawide; 2MP m*cro
Front: 16MP selfie
In addition to the on-paper specs, Nubia put a fan in the phone for active cooling, along with a "ten-layer multi-dimensional cooling system" for good measure. Those include:
Composite graphene
VC heat dissipation plate
High-conducting gel
Superconducting copper foil
Graphene energy storage phase change composite material (w... what?)
So if you've ever wanted to run Angry Birds: Transformers at 120fps, well this is the phone for you. The RedMagic 7S Pro starts at $729 (€779, £669) for the Obsidian version with 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage, and up to $899 (€949, £809) for the Mercury and Supernova models with 18GB of RAM, 512GB of storage, and the RGB fan.
